FYI,

Sometime around January D-Root changed their IPv4 address and if you still have any reference to the old IP address - 128.8.10.90, please replace it with the new address - 199.7.91.13. Most of the DNS resolvers have DNS root "hints" file and should be updated to reflect the new address. 

you can get the new hints files from:

http://www.internic.net/domain/named.root
http://www.internic.net/domain/named.cache


v6 is unchanged.
